Frank Kanayet
Chairman and main shareholder
Frank Kanayet is a Colombian/Croatian problem solver, investor and entrepreneur with 40+ years of experience between Fossil and Green energy. Since Frank was a child he had a very curious mind, a hard work ethic, and a determination to make things happen, but he never imagined becoming partners with many of the brands he idolized as a child, like Porsche & Ferrari. Life takes on many turns, and in 1985, Frank founded his first company, Petrotesting Colombia, a small oil services company that grew to have production of more than 15,000 BOPDE per day, generating employment in rural areas affected by the social conflict in Colombia. He sold this company in 2008 for 220 MM USD.

Frank always considered himself a “trail-blazer”, and thanks to the sale of Petrotesting, the evolution of technology, and disruptive ideas, he invested in “domicilios.com", Colombia’s first food delivery app service, and the first Colombian company to make a successful IPO, an event which changed the history of venture investment and entrepreneurship in Colombia, which is one of the reasons Frank was featured in the Reality TV Show “Shark Tank Colombia”. In social life, he has been appointed as Croatian Honorary Consul in Colombia and President of the National Petroleum Congress.

Later on, Frank focused in electric mobility projects, like the FIA’s Formula E championship, Isotta Fraschini, Greyp bikes, QEV Tech, but the one he's most proud of, is Rimac Automobili, Croatian based company that created, developed, and manufactured the world’s fastest electric HyperCar. Rimac Automobili also produces electric components such as powertrains, battery systems etc. for the world’s top OEM’S.

Frank at a stage of his life, in which finding like minded people who want to make the world a better place is of paramount importance, and that's what NAD Capital is all about.
